I was born in Canberra. I still live in Canberra. Chances are I'll probably die in Canberra. I'm married with two small kids and one large mortgage.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Political Science from the University of New England. The best way to get a Political Science graduate off your front porch is to pay for the pizza. That's a tip, kids. Write it down.
I used to present a show on a local community radio station, where my audience could be counted on the fingers of one leg. Eventually I got tired of the station president using the place as the platform for his particular political leanings (which was completely against our code of practice as a community broadcaster), so I left. I think we're both better off.
I've also been ordained as a Minister of some sort because I went to a website and paid for a certificate. I can't do circumcisions, though, so don't even ask. I got a Doctorate in Metaphysics from the same place, but it's a sham - I cheated on the exam by looking into the soul of the guy sitting next to me (thanks, Woody).
I complain and bitch and moan on a regular basis, but I swear there's always a good reason.
I will never lie to you unless I'm trying to protect your feelings, or unless I think there's an advantage to be gained.
I regularly steal the ideas of others and pass them off as my own in an attempt to appear witty and sophisticated. I also try to hide my inferiority complex by acting like an elitist snob - don't be put off, 'cause it's all a front. Honestly.
My other journal - ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) writing_phish - is the one I use for my writing endeavours (obviously). There's almost nothing in it, so you're not missing much.
PLEASE BE ADVISED that I swear rather a lot in my entries. Rest assured that it's not from any sort of shortcomings in my vocabulary - it's just that, sometimes, the most appropriate word to describe a situation is an expletive of some sort. If you think you might find this offensive, it's probably better all round if you fuck off.
Most of the more personal entries I make are friends-locked. If you think you need the unadulterated 1phish2phish experience, put me on your f-list and I'll probably add you back. Otherwise, the occasional meme and website link is all you'll see.
